The four-year starter for Virginia Tech heads into Week Six on the verge of surpassing Graham for the Hokies' all-time scoring mark (371 points), yet having struggled mightily to this point in the season (8-of-14 field goals made, including just 5-of-10 beyond 29 yards). Head coach Justin Fuente maintains that he and his staff continue to remain supportive and are behind the senior placekicker "100 percent," but may have little choice but to look to back up redshirt freshman Brian Johnson should the Slye struggle to any significant degree against Boston College.
