Potter might be the future signal caller for Washington State. John Mateer is ensconced as the number one and at the very least could be for the 2025-26 season. The only other Cougars' quarterback that has seen snaps is senior Zevi Eckhaus who has completed 6-of-7 pass attempts for 61 yards and one touchdown. Washington State has three other quarterbacks on the roster who are all freshmen.
