2022 Fantasy Outlook
Cedric Tillman returns after posting a 1,000-yard season through the air, though the Volunteers lost both Velus Jones as well as deep threat JaVonta Payton to graduation. As a result, Hyatt steps in as the second-leading returning receiver. Hyatt should be able to improve on his production from a season ago in which he snagged just 21 passes for 226 yards and two touchdowns. Hendon Hooker returns at quarterback, so that should provide familiarity and stability for Hyatt. The wildcard will be former USC and Texas wideout Bru McCoy, who transferred to Tennessee this spring and was a former five-star recruit. McCoy has a plethora of talent but off-field issues have kept him from reaching his potential thus far. Hyatt is at least somewhat of a known commodity and should start from the outset.
