2024 Receiving Projections
2024 Fantasy Outlook
Bond transferred from Alabama to Texas and should immediately impact the Longhorns' passing game. Bond led the Tide in receptions and was second in receiving yardage, finishing with 48 grabs for 668 yards and four touchdowns. Texas lost its top five pass catchers from a season ago, leaving a massive void and a staggering 3,000-plus yards of offense through the air to fill. Bond should be the primary beneficiary of targets, along with Houston transfer Matthew Golden and sophomore Johntay Cook. Quinn Ewers returns under center for the Longhorns, so quarterback should not be an issue and is perhaps even an upgrade in terms of passing compared to his quarterback at Alabama last year, Jalen Milroe. Expect Bond to be a huge component of the Texas passing game in 2024. Read Past Outlooks
Will enter NFL Draft
Bond will enter the 2025 NFL Draft, according to Pete Thamel of ESPN.com.
ANALYSIS
Bond will forgo his senior year of collegiate eligibility to enter the 2025 NFL Draft. The 5-foot-11, 180-pound wideout began his career with Alabama in 2022. He broke out a year later by logging 48 receptions for 668 yards and four touchdowns. Bond elected a Texas transfer going into his 2024 season, and that worked out decent enough for the top-50 receiver. The two-time College Football Playoff semi-finalist logged over 600 all-purpose yards again and also recorded six touchdowns, his career high.
