2022 Fantasy Outlook
As a freshman, Metcalf barely saw the field. He only appeared in four games, and three of his four catches came agains Virginia Tech. What will his second season yield? Well, it will be hard for Metcalf to make significant gains. There are eight guys from the 2021 roster who had more catches than Metcalf still with the team. That includes four guys who had over 40 catches. Metcalf will have to work hard to usurp one of their roles and to get more targets. For now, it is difficult to envision that happening. Metcalf may have to wait until 2023 to make a splash.
