Participating in spring practice
Clark (knee) is participating in spring practice, Charles Miketinac of Fox San Antonio reports.
ANALYSIS
Clark has appeared in just three games across the last two seasons as he has dealt with multiple knee injuries. He was granted an extra year of eligibility by the NCAA and is well on track to make the most of that opportunity come August. Clark caught 103 passes for 1,496 yards and 15 touchdowns across his first two seasons with UTSA, so his return to the team could do wonders for the Roadrunners' offense.

Spring practice storylines abound in the American Athletic Conference. Among them is the Roadrunners' continuity on offense, which could improve the team's outlook following a 7-6 season in 2024.

The AAC likely boasts the best crop of fantasy players outside of the power conferences, and it starts under center with Byrum Brown. Henry Bredemeier examines all-conference teams, sleepers and busts for 2024.

Henry Bredemeier breaks down the biggest spring storylines around the AAC. He believes Byrum Brown and the Bulls are poised to be contenders for the conference crown in 2024.

Jeff Edgerton breaks down the night slates on DraftKings and FanDuel and gives his picks, including Drake Maye as he looks to kick off his 2023 season with a big showing against South Carolina.
2023 Fantasy Outlook
The Roadrunners were a steamroller on offense in 2022. Their passing game was so prolific that they had three receivers with over 700 yards. One of those was Clark, who had 51 catches for 748 yards and eight scores. Here's the thing, though. Clark did that while missing six games after having surgery on his leg. It's entirely possible that Clark would have had over 1,000 yards if he had stayed healthy. Clark is back for 2023, and so is his quarterback Frank Harris. Who isn't back, though, is Zakhari Franklin, who transferred to Ole Miss. Franklin was stellar last year, notching 93 catches for 1,137 yards and 15 touchdowns. That's a lot of targets to find a new home from Harris. Clark clearly is in the mix. Even with the move to the AAC, if Clark is healthy, why would you not expect over 1,000 yards and double-digit touchdowns? He could be the top receiver for what has been an excellent offense the last couple of years.
