Scores twice in place of Drones
Schlee completed 16 of 24 passes for 206 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 38-31 overtime defeat to Syracuse. He also had 19 rushes for 54 yards with one touchdown.
ANALYSIS
Schlee put together a respectable performance in the absence of starter Kyron Drones, but it wasn't enough to knock off the Orange. Schlee may very well start again, as there's currently no timetable for Drones' return. He's not a terrible option for the Hokies, as he does offer some dual-threat ability and was solid as a passer against Syracuse. Still, with such a small sample size, he's hard to trust from a fantasy perspective.

2023 Fantasy Outlook
The Kent State transfer is currently the front-runner to fill the hole left by Dorian Thompson-Robinson. Schlee had an excellent junior season, compiling 2,109 yards with a 13:5 TD/INT ratio with the Golden Flashes. Although Schlee comes in with a lot of experience, the quarterback situation could get interesting if the Bruins struggle early. Blue-chip prospect Dante Moore had an impressive spring camp and could emerge as a challenge for Schlee, but with three years of college play under his belt, the senior should get the first shot.
