Will sit out Sun Bowl
McCaffrey announced Monday on his personal Twitter account that he won't suit up for Stanford in their Dec. 30 matchup with North Carolina in the Sun Bowl.
ANALYSIS
McCaffrey revealed earlier this month that he would forgo his final season of college eligibility and enter the 2016 NFL Draft, so in an effort to avoid an injury and continue to proceed with his preparations for the draft, he'll skip out on the bowl game. He'll leave Stanford as the NCAA's all-time single-season record holder for all-purpose yardage, which he established as a sophomore in 2015.

2016 Fantasy Outlook
Stanford coaches were candid that McCaffrey (6-0, 202) would step into the lead RB role last year, but surely not even they expected McCaffrey to be as good as he was in 2015. McCaffrey had what might have been the best season in Stanford history, running for 2,019 yards (6.0 YPC) and eight TDs while catching 45 passes for 645 yards and five touchdowns, adding one kick return and one punt return touchdown. That's with touchdown vulture Remound Wright stealing 13 TDs on just 83 carries. Wright graduated, so McCaffrey could exceed 20 touchdowns from scrimmage in 2016.
