2022 Fantasy Outlook
Cooper comes to the Hawaii roster with relatively little experience, but the good news for him is that the other quarterbacks have had very little playing time in the past as well. Cooper has spent the last two seasons at Washington State and amassed 15 completions, 143 yards and zero touchdowns through five appearances. The incoming junior is looking for a fresh start and more consistent playing time with Hawaii, and a starting position appears within reach. Quarterbacks Brayden Schager and Joey Yellen are in about the same boat as Cooper, but Yellen is likely ineligible this season, making it a two-way quarterback competition. Schager is slightly more experienced so could pose a threat to Cooper, but an impressive summer of training for Cooper could award him the title of QB1.
