Grab three passes in loss
Stover reeled in three of five targets for 42 yards during Saturday's 30-24 loss versus Michigan.
ANALYSIS
Stover tied with wideouts Julian Fleming and Emeka Egbuka for the Buckeyes' second-most receptions behind star wideout Marvin Harrison (five). The senior tight end caught touchdowns in each of the previous two games leading into Week 13, and he still logged at least five targets for the third game in a row. Stover has also caught 14 passes for 147 yards over this span, and he's largely been the team's most reliable pass catcher behind Harrison this season. It's unclear where this receiving corps will stand moving forward now that Ohio State has been knocked out of the upcoming Big Ten Championship. But, barring a surprise berth into the College Football Playoff, it's possible that both Harrison and Eguka could declare for the 2024 NFL Draft, which could open up more targets for Stover in the Buckeyes soon-to-be-announced Bowl game.
