2025 Receiving Projections
2025 Fantasy Outlook
Wesco backed up his hype as a consensus blue-chip receiver out of high school and immediately became a staple of Clemson's passing attack during his true freshman season in 2024. He was the second-leading receiver for the Tigers last fall, racking up 41 catches for 708 yards and five touchdowns across 12 games. He wasted little time making an impact, recording two 100-yard outings in his first four games. He also garnered double-digit targets in each of his last three outings, including the ACC title game and the first-round College Football Playoff matchup against Texas. With Clemson returning star quarterback Cade Klubnik, along with its other top pass-catchers, this offense could be even better in 2025, and that would, of course, be highly beneficial for Wesco. Though Antonio Williams, who caught 75 passes last season, figures to remain the Tigers' top option through the air, Wesco and fellow returning starter TJ Moore are bigger bodies on the perimeter and should remain among Klubnik's favorite targets. Wesco is also the team's primary deep threat, averaging 17.2 yards per reception last year. Read Past Outlooks

Leading receiver in Week 1 loss
Wesco had four receptions (on seven targets) for 66 yards during Saturday's 17-10 loss against LSU.
ANALYSIS
Wesco was solid in Clemson's loss to LSU, but no Tiger receiver was really a difference-maker in Week 1. Clemson's passing attack only completed 50 percent of its passes and didn't toss a touchdown in the opener. LSU's defense swarmed all night, making life rather miserable. Wesco and the Clemson offense have a much easier task at hand in Week 2 with Troy coming to town.
