Rough showing in debut
September 1, 2024
Fowler-Nicolosi went 10-for-18 passing for 59 yards and an interception during Saturday's 52-0 defeat against Texas.
ANALYSIS
It was a rough start to the season for Fowler-Nicolosi and a Colorado State offense that couldn't get anything going against a stout Texas defense. While the Longhorns certainly posed a tough task in the opener, it was a disappointing effort for Fowler-Nicolosi, who threw for 3,460 yards, 22 touchdowns and 16 interceptions as a redshirt freshman last season. The 6-foot-2 quarterback should find more success next week, when the Rams host an FCS opponent in Northern Colorado.
