Four weeks is the minimum number of weeks Louisiana-Lafayette's head coach, Michael Desormeaux, said Wooldridge will be out for, with six weeks also on the table. Either way, he will sit out the remainder of the 2024 Cajuns' regular season, which is set to be over in less than two weeks. The best Wooldridge can hope for to suit Louisiana's bowl game, which the Cajuns will qualify for with one of the Sun Belt's best records. It's far from a certainty he'll be healthy enough to play in the bowl either, however.
