Doesn't practice Monday
Williams (hamstring) didn't practice Monday and is considered day-to-day for Saturday's Week 2 matchup against Troy, Jon Blau of The Charleston Post and Courier reports.
ANALYSIS
Williams left Saturday's game against LSU with a hamstring injury, and although the fact that he didn't practice on Monday isn't encouraging, his day-to-day status leaves the door open for the star wideout to be available against Troy. The absence of Williams would be a massive blow for Clemson, though. His absence could lead to more targets for players such as Bryant Wesco, T.J. Moore, Tyler Brown and Tristan Smith.

2023 Fantasy Outlook
Antonio Williams heads into his 2023 sophomore campaign with budding momentum. He quietly led the Tigers in receiving last year with 56 catches and 604 yards as a freshman, despite not having a 100-yard game. With anticipated year to year growth and as the unquestioned leader of this group, Williams prospects are buoyed heavily by incoming offensive coordinator Garrett Riley, who will bring more Air Raid principles from TCU to Clemson. Williams isn’t a burner, nor does he have elite size, but his route running is crisp and spring reports are he’s embraced a leadership role. There’s a glaring lack of experience behind Williams, who also garnered 13 targets in QB Cade Klubnik’s two starts. While touchdowns could be syphoned by larger bodies in Adam Randall and Beaux Collins, Wiliams volume should make him an easy choice to lead the Tigers in receiving again under a system that will be far more fantasy friendly.
