Hunt-Thompson announced via social media that he has committed to joining North Texas for the 2025 season.

Hunt-Thompson transfers in from Division-II Ferris State in search of better playing opportunities. The wide receiver totaled nine catches for 166 yards and a touchdown across three appearances.
