Terion Stewart Injury: Wearing boot on left foot

Stewart missed Virginia Tech's practice Wednesday and was seen donning a boot on his left foot, per Andy Bitter of Tech Sidelines.

Stewart has been limited recently in the Hokies' fall camp, and in what was reportedly a brief media viewing period, Stewart didn't participate at all. He appears hampered by a foot injury, and while Virginia Tech has one of the later openers on Sunday, August 31 against South Carolina, it's not a good sign that its presumed top tailback is in a boot just over a week out. If Stewart is unavailable, expect Marcellous Hawkins and Jeremiah Coney to take the bulk of the snaps at halfback.
