RJ Maryland Injury: Gets involved in team drills
Maryland (knee) participated in 11-on-11 drills during Saturday's practice, Billy Embody of On3.com reports.
Maryland, who has spent most of the offseason recovering from a season-ending knee injury, was able to partake in team drills during Saturday's practice, though it's unclear if he was taking contact. The 6-foot-4 senior tight end, who recorded 24 receptions for 359 yards and four touchdowns across seven games during the 2024-25 season, continues to progress well through fall camp. Maryland's status will be worth monitoring as the Mustangs gear up for a Week 1 matchup with Texas A&M-Commerce.
