Young was the first back up in drills during Alabama's fall camp practice Tuesday, per AL.com.

This is a significant development, as Alabama must plan for the absence of star halfback Jam Miller (collarbone), who is out for the foreseeable future. Young logged 27 carries for 146 yards and two scores as a backup tailback last season. He appears to be the next man up, and could be the Crimson Tide's starter while Miller works his way back from injury.
