Martin (shoulder) was spotted heading to the locker room with training staff, Mitch Harper of KSL News Salt Lake City reports.
Martin suffered an apparent shoulder injury according to Jay Drew of The Salt Lake Tribune, leaving the game on the opening drive of the second quarter. The 6-foot-2 junior back, a true workhorse, and the driving force behind the Cougars' 7-0 start, leaves the contest with five carries for 15 yards and a touchdown. It is unclear if Martin will be able to return to the game.
