Smith-Brown announced via social media that he has committed to joining the Mountaineers for the 2025 season.

Smith-Brown joins from FCS South Carolina State after three seasons. The senior wide receiver totaled 21 receptions for 307 yards and two touchdowns across 4 appearances during the 2024 season.
