Jeff Weimer News: Receives waiver to play

Weimer received clearance from the NCAA to play for the Mountaineers in 2025, CBS News reports.

Weimer was initially denied an appeal to play but challenged the ruling and won. Weimer has not been practicing while awaiting a decision and may not be well conditioned enough to suit up for the opener next Saturday. He posted over 1,000 yards at Idaho State last season and could make an impact down the line.
