Jamauri McClure News: May be trending toward committee

McClure could be part of a committee backfield to open the 2025 campaign, Patrick Harkness of The Kneaux reports.

McClure flashed in the spring game and even had a 50-yard touchdown run in Saturday's scrimmage, but he also coughed up the ball, much to the chagrin of head coach Jon Sumrall. There's a crew of up to four backs, comprised of McClure, Maurice Turner, Arnold Barnes and Zuberi Mobley, who could form the committee to open the 2025 campaign. However, play during the season could determine who gets the lion's share of looks as the season rolls along.
