Jalil Hall Injury: Set to miss extended time

Hall is expected to be sidelined for an extended time after sustaining a lower leg injury in the Week 1 matchup against Ball State on Saturday, head coach Barry Odom told Tom Dienhart of On3.com. "Unfortunately, a lower leg injury. Would expect that he's going to miss significant time."

The freshman wideout wasn't expected to be a major contributor for the Boilermakers this season, but the injury will prevent him from taking the field altogether. He didn't register a single catch in Saturday's contest.
