Jack Velling Injury: Back practicing

Velling (foot) is back practicing before the Spartans' upcoming game against Western Michigan on Aug. 29, Chris Solari of the Detroit Free Press reports.

A week after it was announced that Velling would be sidelined with a foot injury, he is already making at least some strides. In terms of injury status, it remains questionable, but another positive development towards his injured foot could have him available by Aug. 29.
