Elijah Gilliam News: Left off initial two-deep

Gilliam isn't included on Fresno State's initial two deep ahead of the season opener against Kansas.

Fresno State's running back pecking order reads as follows: Bryson Donelson and Rayshon Luke. Now, with Donelson as the presumed starter, it's possible that Gilliam was simply surpassed on the depth chart by Luke. Still, Gilliam is coming off his most productive season to date, rushing for 466 yards and eight touchdowns on 121 carries last fall with the Bulldogs. He figures to be involved in some capacity, but there's a chance he's fallen out of favor with the Fresno State staff.
