Damari Alston News: Part of Baylor prep
Altson (heel) participated in Auburn's practice period in which it simulated Baylor's defensive formations, appearing healthy in the process, per Nathan King of 247Sports.com.
Alston has been ramping up his participation, and the tailback reportedly participated with the starters as Auburn preps for Baylor by simulating their formations. Given his involvement in such a specific game-prep drill, it appears Alston is healthy and ready to roll. He's expected to be the Tigers' lead tailback this fall after rushing for 276 yards and three touchdowns last season on 5.3 yards-per-carry.
