Conner Weigman News: Slated to return for Houston

Weigman is set to return to Houston for a final season with the Cougars, per Joseph Duarte of the Houston Chronicle.

Weigman is coming off a career year in Houston after spending his first three seasons at Texas A&M. The gunslinger tossed for 2,475 yards, 21 touchdowns and nine interceptions whole completing 63.9 percent of his passes. He also displayed his mobility, rushing for 644 yards with 11 scores on the ground. His return is huge for the Cougars, as they'll have a grizzled veteran under center coming off his best season yet.
