CJ Baxter News: Intends to enter portal
Baxter intends to enter the NCAA's transfer portal, Pete Thamel of ESPN reports.
During 2023, Baxter earned offensive newcomer of the year. He did not play 2024 due to a knee injury. After eight games for 2025, Baxter has two years of collegiate eligibility remaining. Considering how well the running back excelled for Texas, him being a top commodity is expected. Given his status, it would not be surprising if Baxter sits out UT's bowl game Dec. 31 against Michigan.
