Cam Fancher News: Set to be named starter

Fancher is expected to be named the starter for UCF heading into the 2025 season, per Matt Zenitz of 247Sports.com.

Fancher has been competing with fellow quarterbacks Tayven Jackson and Jacurri Brown for the starting job but appears to have pulled ahead with just one week to go before the start of the 2025 season. The 6-foot-2 signal caller previously threw for 1,528 yards and six touchdowns to six interceptions to go along with 365 yards and three scores on the ground for Florida Atlantic during the 2024 season.
