Billy Edwards News: Partakes in scrimmage's live work

Edwards (knee) participated in Wisconsin's scrimmage and its live work Saturday, Nick Osen of 247Sports.com reports.

For the preseason, Saturday marked Wisconsin's last scrimmage, so having Edwards available as primary quarterback then was crucial. Now that the senior is healthy, he can focus on beginning UW's 2025 season strong. This year's campaign begins with a home game against Miami (OH) on Aug. 28. Taking on a non-Power Four team, Edwards aims to take advantage of one of Wisconsin's easier opponents this season.
