Bear Bachmeier News: Dealing with minor ailment

Bachmeier (ankle) is dealing with a minor injury but will play in BYU's bowl game against Georgia Tech on Dec. 27, per Jay Drew of The Salt Lake Tribune.

BYU offensive coordinator Aaron Roderick called the injury "not severe," and the program has already announced that he'll suit up for the Cougars' bowl game. Bachmeier was one of the better true freshman in the nation this season, tossing for 2,708 yards, 14 touchdowns and six interceptions on 64.2 percent completion. He also ran for 527 yards and 11 scores as a true dual threat. Bachmeier will look to close out the season on a high note against the Yellow Jackets.
