Theis rushed 12 times for 75 yards and brought in both targets for 25 yards in the Alouettes' 39-18 win over the Redblacks on Friday night.

ANALYSIS
Theis led the Alouettes' ground attack, logging twice as many carries as Week 1 lead back Sean Thomas-Erlington. The rookie out of South Dakota also made solid contributions as a receiver, and he supplied a game-long 32-yard run as well. Given his body of work, Theis certainly appears to have laid claim to the top role in the ground attack heading into a Week 3 road matchup against the Elks on Thursday night.
