Alexander was the confirmed starter for the Week 17 matchup and did a good job carrying the team offensively. However, most of the heavy lifting was done by the rushing game, especially backup quarterback Shea Patterson, who found the end zone three times. Alexander should remain as the Alouettes' starter when Montreal takes on Ottawa on Monday, Oct. 13, after the bye week.
