Richardson served as a part-time starter for Fordham in each of his first two collegiate seasons, with his 2023-24 campaign culminating in averages of 9.8 ppg and 2.7 rpg. He had seemingly settled into a full-time starter's role in 2024-25, though his scoring fell to 5.6 ppg, and he was held scoreless in his previous two starts prior to the absence. The holiday break didn't seem to resolve the issue, as he was absence for Tuesday's A10 opener against Saint Louis. Jahmere Tripp has taken over his starting role and been largely effective, posting averages of 10.7 points, 5.2 rebounds and 2.5 assists across six starts with Richardson unavailable. Few details have emerged since Richardson's original absence, so he should be considered questionable at best for Saturday's matchup against St. Bonaventure.
