ANALYSIS
Green, who also plays tight end for LSU's football team, will step away from the Tigers' basketball program to focus on his academics. This decision was reportedly made in collaboration with both of his head coaches. Green will still participate in LSU's weight program ahead of spring football, and plans to return to the basketball team at a later date. Right now, however, there's no timetable for the forward's return. The freshman averages 1.8 points and 1.7 rebounds across 6.8 minutes this season.
