Staveskie is spending his fourth collegiate season with his third school in as many years, but the 6-1 guard looks to be making an immediate impact. The Cardinals were blown out in their opener against Colorado State, and Staveskie put forth a rough shooting performance in a Nov. 7 matchup against NAIA Jarvis Christian, going 0-for-9 from the field (though he did add seven rebounds and seven assists). In another NAIA matchup Tuesday, Staveskie recorded the rare triple-double, though the caliber of opponent must be taken into account. Expectations should be tempered heading into Sunday's matchup at Indiana, but Staveskie has already established himself on the fantasy radar in formats that include the Southland Conference. Defense is seemingly optional in this year's iteration of the Cardinals, so expect high-volume and big statistical performance as the team looks to keep pace.
