Thomas had an off shooting night, but he was able to find other ways to contribute and help his team to a confidence building exhibition win over a very strong team. Thomas also played over 38 minutes in this one, as it appears coach Eric Musselman is going to have a hard time getting Thomas off the floor. The 6-7 forward averaged 19.7 points, 9.8 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 2.0 three-pointers and 1.7 steals per game last season and will look to have the same kind of impact Dalton Knecht did with a Power Conference team after spending the prior season with Northern Colorado.
