Wilson attempted only four shots while scoring five points, but posted his biggest contribution of the season off the glass by collecting 13 boards in 29 minutes off the bench during Friday's Big 12 semifinal victory. The Cougars were playing short-handed without starting forward J'Wan Roberts and Wilson was the one to step up, receiving the most court time he's seen all season while recording his highest rebounding total since prior to the pandemic during his time with Louisiana-Lafayette. Houston will make their second-straight appearance in the Big 12 championship and has likely already locked up a one seed when the NCAA Tournament bracket is announced on Sunday.
