ANALYSIS
It wasn't the most efficient shooting night for the Cougars starting backcourt of Uzan, Emanuel Sharp and Kingston Flemings who combined to go just 11-36 from the field. Uzan was able to be productive in other areas, which is why he's going to be one of the better fantasy guard options in the Big 12. The senior has more responsibility this year with leaders J'wan Roberts and LJ Cryer out of the mix. That said, Uzan was a big reason why this Houston team was just minutes away from winning a National Championship last year. He'll look to kick off the regular season strong on Nov. 3 against Lehigh.
