Rosario was compared to former Kansas standout Christian Braun by coach Bill Self who said, "Kohl is a Christian Braun that shoots it better. But he's not as big and not as powerful yet," via Henry Greenstein of Lawrence Journal-World.

That's certainly an encouraging sign for Jayhawk fans who are hoping that the 2025-26 season can be a return to form following two straight disappointing campaigns. Rosario saw his stock rise quite a bit through the AAU circuit displaying his excellent outside shooting range. He ended up reclassifying and will indeed join the Jayhawks for the upcoming season. It sounds like Rosario is on his way to earning a spot in the rotation, and his role could continue to grow as he gets stronger.
