Overton connected on four from deep en route to matching a season high with a team-leading 20 points. The sophomore guard also matched a season high with 34 minutes of court time while adding six boards, three dimes and a steal in an all-around quality effort for the short-handed Red Raiders. Overton's role is matchup-dependent as across the last 12 games, he's topped 20 minutes six times while playing 10 or fewer minutes four times during that stretch. If the Red Raiders are still without starters Chance McMillian and Darrion Williams by the time the NCAA Tournament gets started next week, Overton is likely to again see an increased roll.
