Lake tallied five points (2-7 FG, 1-2 3Pt), two rebounds and two assists in the 69-56 win over Boise State to secure the Mountain West title.
ANALYSIS
Lake averaged 11.1 points per game for the season, good for second-best on the roster. So much of the scoring load has been carried by Nique Clifford, diminishing Lake's role as the second option slightly throughout March. His 14 points against Utah State in a semifinal win showed the senior can still be an effective scorer, but his performance across three games in the Mountain West tournament was not inspiring.
