Williams matched two others with a game-high eight made field goals and converted a perfect 2-of-2 free throws to finish one of three Mississippi Valley State players eclipsing 20 points on Tuesday night. The junior from Powder Springs, GA also logged his third multiple rebound performance in five appearances, fourth and fifth assist in three outings and third and fourth steal in two starts in the victory. The 6-4, 181-pound guard opened conference play reaching double figures in nine consecutive showings, but has done so in only half of his team's last 10 matchups, leaving him with a 13.8 points per game average against league foes. Williams rounds out his current stat line versus SWAC opponents with a median 3.4 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 26.4 minutes playing time as well.
