Head coach Mark Byington indicated that Collins (lower body) is expected to miss an indefinite amount of time moving forward, per Joey Dwyer of SI.com.
ANALYSIS
Collins previously missed two games for the Commodores earlier in the season due to a lower body injury as well, though it is thus far unclear whether his current ailment is related to the previous issue. The 6-foot-1 guard has averaged 7.8 points, 4.2 rebounds and 4.7 assists to go along with 2.4 steals per game across nine contests for Vandy this season. Though Byington said the team did not have a definitive timeline for his return, he indicated that the injury is not expected to be season-ending.
