Johnson will be back for the Blazers' 2024-25 season, according to his announcement Thursday.

Johnson is the 2023-24 Blazers' fifth player (after Yaxel Lendeborg, Christian Coleman, Alejandro Vasquez and Marquis Hargrove) to publicly announce that he will be part of their team again for another season. He helped them win the 2024 American Athletic Conference Tournament by averaging 13.7 points across his three games then. During his only game of the 2024 NCAA Tournament, Johnson made half of his 10 three-pointers for 19 points against reigning runner-up San Diego State.
