Donovan Dent

GuardG
Drops 17 in loss
GNew Mexico
March 10, 2024
Dent provided 17 points (8-16 FG, 1-2 FT), three rebounds, five assists, one block and one steal in 33 minutes during Saturday's 87-85 loss to Utah State.
ANALYSIS
The Lobos were without their leading-scorer in Jamal Mashburn on Saturday, but Dent elevated his game to help keep New Mexico in the game for so long. The sophomore guard from California was New Mexico's second-leading scorer, dropping 17 points while shooting 50 percent from the field to go along with his five assists and three boards. Expect Dent to keep performing at a high level as New Mexico takes on Air Force on Mar. 13 in the opening round of the Mountain West Tournament.
