Getting back in form
GSt. John's
February 20, 2025
Smith accumulated 18 points (7-17 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 1-1 FT), four rebounds, five assists, one block and two steals in 32 minutes during Wednesday's 82-58 victory over DePaul.
ANALYSIS
Smith made his first start for St. John's since Jan. 11 and scored his most points since Dec. 28, as the Red Storm faced a soft matchup and were without leading scorer RJ Luis. It remains to be seen if Smith holds on to this role after Luis returns, but the good news is that one of the team's top transfers is available and producing after battling a neck injury for much of the calendar year.
