Freitag posted 27 points (6-14 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 14-15 FT), two rebounds, five assists, one block and one steal in 32 minutes during Saturday's 80-64 win over RIT.
ANALYSIS
Freitag was never able to break into a meaningful role as a freshman at Wisconsin, but he's getting plenty of minutes in his new home in the MAC. Saturday's effort may have been against an overmatched DIII opponent, but Freitag also put forth efforts of 20 points against UWGB on Nov. 7 and 18 points against DePaul on Nov. 11. He's positioning himself well for an eventual move back to a bigger school should this production continue.
