Gilmore's all-around effort ended up leading to a season high in minutes played, as his timely buckets and stout defense kept him on the court over starter Nolan Winter. He hadn't made a three-pointer in the previous seven games, but found his stroke and knocked down a pair in the semifinal victory. He was also responsible for blocking a game-tying shot attempt from the Spartans down the stretch, as the fifth-year senior continues to be a vital depth piece down the stretch.
