ANALYSIS
Carr is expected to miss extended time after suffering a left thumb injury during Sunday's 103-68 win over Austin Peay. It's a tough blow for Tennessee as the sophomore guard has averaged 4.8 points in 10.5 minutes per game this season and was looked at as a solid bench piece for the Volunteers. Carr will miss the rest of November and most of December while recovering from the injury, with his first real chance at a return probably coming against Middle Tennessee on December 23.
